Can Ibuprofen Be Taken For TIA?

I had a small TIA I am taking clopidogrel 75mgm & simvastatin. I have some gluteal tendinopathy & need something for the discomfort, I am taking Slow release tylenol 650 mgm, sometimes I need something stronger, is it ok to take Ibuprofen 200mgm prn?

Surely you can take the Ibuprofen without any hesitation. But along with that it would be wise to take some antacid medication such as ranitidine 150 mg two times a day before food.

It is important to continue clopidogrel & simvastatin along with that.
But it would be more ideal that you should consult the orthopaedic surgeon reagarding your gluteal tendinopathy and avoid self medication. He might prompt you towards the physiotherapist for the same which will be the more apropriate mode of treatment.

But answer to your question is yes you can surely take Ibuprfen along with the rest of the medications.
