Can I Take This Medication In Addition To Other One?

I take Synthroid 0.112 mg daily. May I safely take Actialin in addition. I had my tryroid killed at age 27 with radio active iodine at the age of 28. I am now 66, and recently my Doctor lowered my Synthroid from 0.150 mg so that it would not overtax my organs?

Yes, you can safely take it with levothyroxine. There is no reported side effects.
Dose of levothyroxine are titrated according to clinical judgement and thyroid levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
