Can Hepatitis B In Early Stage Be Treated?

I received a positive hepatitis b result on my blood work. My doctor asked if I had taken the hepatitis vaccine recently (which I havent) and asked me to come back to the office and have more tests done. This is a recent discovery I had taken a hepatitis test a few months back and was negative. However, I recently had unprotected intercourse with my ex girlfriend recently. I am very concerned. Is it possible I am in the acute stages and I can develop antibodies to rid of this virus? I have no symptoms at all. Just very concerned. Please advise. Thank you
