Can Hearing Loss Caused By H1N1 Vaccine Shot Be Reversed?

I am a father of a 6 yr old daughter. She developed an unilateral hearing loss shortly after the H1N1 vacination shoot. I have been to several doctors who conducted hearing tests and a MRI. All test report a sensory hearing loss. Therefore if the vacine caused the hearing loss can it be reversed?

I went through your query regarding sensory hearing loss following influenza vaccination.Though goggling it you may find many cases assuming it to be after flu vaccination , but there is no association between flu vaccination and sensory hearing loss as of date. It may be a coincidence .Vaccine does not cause hearing loss. Regarding recovery , without knowing the cause we can not comment , but may recover if caused by some viral illness. ENT surgeon may be in a better position to answer this.
In summary, as of date there is no evidence that flu vaccine causes hearing loss.
Regarding recovery of hearing loss it is very difficult to comment as we do not what caused it.
