Can gout be cured completely if yes how long is the treatment I am male 31 yrs height 5.45 weight 69kgs suffering from initial stage of gout.I had high uric acid one and half year before and I am prescribed to have allapurinol.now my uric acid is normal but have pain in my big toes of both the legs.Can gout be cured completely if yes then how long the treatment takes?

It can be cured completely provided that strict Restriction and low allowance of some protein and vaat pittaj Aahar like Wines , tobacco

it can not be cured completely but it can be kept under control with food habits chnge in life style ,reducing weight and with medicines
do not take red meats ,organ meats , better to avoid alcohol and exposure to cold
take plenty water

Even though your uric acid is controlled, apart from diet please take allopurinol 100 mg very 2nd day as maintainence doase.
