Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear madam i can understand your concern
the gestational diabetes is usually seen in pregnant individuals and it will disappear after delivery.
but there is very good amount of evidence in clinical research showing that there will increased incidence of type 2 diabetes in individuals who suffered gestational diabetes in there early life
the good news is this condition is reversible by maintaining BMI close to 24,5 by doing daily exercise.
i suggest you to check your hba1c% and fasting blood sugar to rule out any problem and consider speaking with your doc.
