Can Genetically Dark Lips Be Lightened With Cosmetic Surgery?

I have genetically dark lips. I m african and of a dark skin complexion. I ve read on a couple sites on the internet now that if your lips are genetically dark, you can t make them any lighter. Although, from what i ve there is a treatment of cosmetic surgery which lightens your lips or something, that you can get done. I m really young so that isn t exactly an option, and I assume it would be very costly and expensive. So my question is, Is there a way to lighten genetically dark lips other than cosmetic surgery? And also, Why do people of darker complexions generally have dark lips, or dark upper lips?

Hi,

Differences in lip color vary by ethnicity and aging. We have a large range of skin tones and lip colors in the world depend on Racial. Africans have a dark complexion and dark lips depend on climactic conditions. But the number of melanocytes, which imparts the color to the skin and lips are the same in all Races. The difference is only the shade of darkness. If we minimise the darkness, may get light color. Here oral Glutathione and Glomax lip gel have Niacinamide, Mandelic acid and shea butter will give good result.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
