Can Food Poisoning Lead To Dry Mouth, Red And Sore Tongue And Bright Yellow Urine?

My friend had what we think was food poisoning this past weekend. He has been able to take fluids and been eating, but still has extreme dry mouth, a red and sore tongue and bright yellow urine? Are these the after effects from the vomiting and diarrhea?

Food poisoning lead to several symptoms which defer patient to patient and depend on: type/duration of poisoning, dehydration level, nature of received treatment and associated complication.

Symptoms as mentioned by you, may occur due to following issues related to food poisoning:
-Extreme dry mouth: Dehydration
-Red and sore tongue: Due to effect of poison, vitamin deficiency and infection.
-Bright yellow urine: Due to poison, liver dysfunction or vitamins intake.
