Can Fever Be Treated With Calpol And Dolo?

Hey doctor actually my 19 yr old brother is suffering from fever from last 1.5 days .. vry frst day I gave him one tab calpol 500mg .. nd he get little relief .. I gave him this tab aftr 6 hrs .. but yesterday according to my doctor I gave him dolo 650 but it didnt give him any relief .. his temperature was 103.6 whole night .. then I gave him one more dose of dolo .. but it Didnt give him any relief .. finally I gave him calpol 500 mg .. then his fever got down .. I need to know one thing which tab is better in dolo650 and calpol 500.. his body was shivering in fever

Both are same. Both have paracetamol. Apart from these drugs he will also need drugs to treat cause of infection like antibiotic. Tap water sponging will also help.
