Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
Good day.
Your wife's TSH is elevated and your doctor has done the right thing. It is a safe drug in pregnancy and please start Eltroxin in empty stomach daily. It is important to keep TSH less than 2.5 in first three months of pregnancy. This is to avoid complications in baby and mother. Please continue thyronorm and retest TSH after 4 weeks
Regards
Binu
