Can Crocin Syrup Be Taken For Pain In Throat, Runny Nose With Mucus?

Hello Sir,

I had severe throat infection and few days back and was diagonosed to have Sinus infection.

I took antibiotics and the Sinus pain has reduced.

But I still have minor throat pain sometimes and also have a runny nose and also get a lot of muscus.

Would Crocin syrup help me or would you recommend some other medication? Thanks!

Regarding your query for your sinus and throat infection, and you are already taking antibiotic and syp crocin but still your mild throat pain and running nose is persisting along with mucus.

Here I would like to tell you that you are actually having upper respiratory tract infection involving nose , paranasal sinuses and throat. With due concent of your treating doctor you may add these in your treatment-

1- Steam inhalation.

2- Anti histaminic.

3- mucolytic cough syrup.

Probably above will help you.
