Can Crimson And G Reg Cause An Increase In PCOs Problem?

Hi doctor, As i have pcos problem, my doctor advised me to take crimson and g reg and i have been taking it for the one year. from my childhood I am having skin problems. but after taking these tablets it got increased. What i wanted to ask you is, these tablets are the causes for this unexpected situation?

Poly cystic ovarian disease presents with irregular periods, anovulation, etc., due to reproductive hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance. Treatment should be given to counteract these effects. Among the tablets prescribed to you, Krimson 35 tablets contain low dose combined hormonal pills which will help in regularization of reproductive hormonal levels. Greg tablets contain Metformin which will help in increasing the insulin sensitivity of the tissues. You have not specified which type of skin problem you are having. Anyhow, according to manufacturers skin problems are not mentioned as side effects of these drugs.

To find out the exact cause of skin problem, better to consult aermatologist once, get examined and take treatment accordingly. Long term use of hormonal pills is not recommended generally. Other measures that can help in treating the PCOS along with medicines are:
- Taking healthy, balanced diet in regular schedule
- Regular calories burning exercises
- Maintaining normal body mass index
