Can Coumadin Causes Nose Bleed And Blurred Vision After Aortic Valve Replacement?

I TAKE COUMADIN FOLLOWING AN AORTIC VALVE REPLACEMENT IN 2006. INFREQUENTLY I WAKE UP, START MOVING AROUND AND GET A NOSEBLEED (LASTING 10-30 MINUTES) FOLLOWED BY A HEADACHE AND 'MILD' BLURRED VISION THAT LAST ALL DAY. COULD THIS BE A SIGN OF TROUBLE?

THANKS,

Hi i read your query very carefully.

Yes this may be a sign of trouble. I recommend that you should measure immediately the I.N.R and other anticoagulation parameters.

If every thing is ok than don't worry.

Hope it was of help!
