Dear patient.
Greetings from health care magic!!! I am Dr Thakker and shall be answering your question.

Clopidogrel is an oral anti platelet drug which acts on the ADP receptors of the platelets and prevent their aggregration. This prevents restenosis of the stent placed in the coronary arteries. Hence your cardiologist prescribed this to you.

Clopidogrel is not know to cause ulcer because it does not act on the COX system like aspirin. Hence you can continue clopidogrel for life without worrying about exaceberating your ulcers. However you may have to take an enteric coated aspirin for mild ulcer and maybe stop aspirin if ulcer is very severe.

Pantoprazole 40 mg once a day for 15 to 21 days helps to heal the ulcers.

I hope this helps you out. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to write back to me.

Yours sincerely,
Dr Thakker.
