I have a tender right bunion, that causes sudden stabs of pain if my shoe is not thick and soft soled. I had the left bunion fixed in 07 but have bilateral neroma pain and claw and hammer toes. that are painful in most shoes . The small toes are folding under the 4th toes causing corns. Going in flat shoes or barefoot is very painful and I change shoes twice a day , no heels or pretty shoes. -just sensible ones. Darn! 38 years of nursing and flat feet ...How feasible is a surgery to repair rt bunion and claw/hammer toes and get to back to work in a reasonable time. How hard at age 60(and no predisposing health concerns) to have claw and hammar toes done bilaterally at same surgery? I am a nurse at an adult workshop and daycare, a lot of sitting, fortunately.
