Can Arthritis Cause Low Back And Leg Pain?

Low, mid back pain, leg pain. Had it now going on two years. MRI showed mild arthritis. Work on a stone floor which makes pain worse at times. Father and sister both had sciatic issues. Pain goes down the leg on the outside and sometimes inside of leg. Legs feels weak at times and sometimes feet hurt. Had physical therapy and now working with personal trainer. Relief for a few hours, but pain returns.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
It means there is disc herniation in the spine which is causing compression of the nerves and it leads to pain and weakness in the leg. You have not mentioned when did you get this MRI because if it was done 6 months back then I would suggest you to repeat it, If it is showing very severe nerve compression then I am afraid surgery is only option left. If it shows that compression is mild then physiotherapy and Pregamabalin and methylcobal will help you.
