Can Aleive Taken To Relieve Back Pain Cause Bruised Legs Or A Fall In A Diabetic Person?
I m a diabetic and I fell and hit just below my chin 5 or 6 days ago. I noticed a small bruise a few days later but thought maybe it was because of the fall and didn t think too much about it. But over the last two days Ive noticed at way getting larger. Yesterday I was on my feet all day doing heavy house work. I woke up this morning and the bruise has wrapped around my leg, The top of my foot, and a small bruise has now appeared on my ankle on the other side of my foot. Also, because of sever back pain, I have been taking a heavy amount of aleive. Could the Aleive be the problem? Or do I need to worry that it might be something else.
Aleive is an non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs which is not indicated in diabetes as it may aggravate the kidney damage.
Secondly it can be taken occassionally if you dont have diabetic nephropathy. but if you are planning to take it for a long time for pain relieving then.
It is definately not indicated but instead you can choose between paracetamol and tramadol according to your doctor advice.
Thanks
