Can A Turp Operation Result In Bloating And A Distended Stomach?

I had a turp operation over a year ago and now my urologist surgeon claims i am bloated and have a distended stomach. Also my neropathy doctor did all the tests and they were fine including sonograms. Can a turp operation result in bloating and a distended stomach
