Can A Person Having Thyroid Problem Have Problems With Fertility?

Hi doctor,
I'm Soundarya.. I'm 21years old.. I'm overweight so on August2013 i check my body.. the report is i've Thyroid problem. T3-0.85 , T4-9.0, TSH-7.47.. I take Thyronorm 50mcg tablet daily..when will it cure? and May i know what stage now i'm in? Many persons said if we have thyroid we lost our fertility is it true???

I really appreciate your concern, just stop worrying thyroid problem wont bring the fertility, you are being wrongly informed, you have to go for complete thyroid profile test to know the final diagnosis, thyroid dysfunction is always needs permanent medicine, but some time natural remission takes place and then you wont be in a need of medicine, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
