Can Tramadol Lead To Heart Palpitations?

If I take a dose of Tramadol 50 mg. is there a chance I will have increased heart palpatations?I suffer a rapid heart rate and have been prescribed Zanax to control the heart rate but have to take quite a few to control the rate. I have now been prescribed Tramadol for pain of an enlarged ovary. I don't want to take it if it could increase my heart rate.

Hello,

Tramadol does not cause palpitations. If symptoms persist better to consult a cardiologist and plan for an ECG to rule out arrhythmias.
