Can STD's, Be Related To Rashes On Body With Nausea ?
Hi my question is on sept 14 I had unprotected vag sex w my fiance. On the 23 I developed chills, rash and bruises on my legs, body sweats no fever but a lot of nausea and 2 weeks of fatigue... tested pos for clamydia and took my meds but now I'm worried on Oct 2 I had another rash all over my upper body that lasted 3 days thanks to benadryl... Oct 19 I developed circumvallate-papillea w yeast on the center of my tongue and strange red pimple like lesions on my back and arms... my fiance refused to get tested for std's so I got tested for all std's hiv - elisa was neg on Dec 14. Help I don't know what's going on
Since you have tested negative, by a screening test for HIV, 3 months after your sexual contact, therefore, I think you are safe. This is conclusive. Your systemic symptoms were possibly due to an unrelated cause and probably you had an episode of hives which responded to benadryl. The pimple like lesions that you presently notice on your back and arms are most likely acne. Back and shoulders just like face are common sites for acne/pimples. I suggest you to use topical benzoyl peroxide twice daily. A benzoyl peroxide wash would also help with acne on torso. Yeast infection of the tongue/ thrush could be a consequence of being treated with Oral antibiotics for your preceding illness.
