Can MRI And CT Be Done While Having A Menstrual Period?

I have had a Uterine artery embolisation in 2008 ( I am 57 years old )- reason fibroid uterus and heavy bleeding. All has been well until now and my fibroids have shrunk considerably but the bleeding returned in April ( heavy with clots 19 days ) and May ( 21 days ). Went back to my Gynoecologist and she sent me for an Ultrasound and vaginal scan. A 4cm ovarian cyst has been found on my left ovary which is " indeterminate" in nature. Am due to have MRI/FBC and CT scan tommorrow. My bleeding is back ( only 5 days between bleeds ).

Can I still have the MRI and CT while having a heavy period.

Your advice would help.

Thank you
