Is Smoking Medical Marijuana Safe Before An MRI To Relieve Anxiety?

I have an MRI scheduled tonight to look at my uterus. I do get a little claustrophobic at times, but prefer not to take prescription pills. I have a medical marijuana license for menstrual pains due to fibroids (what my MRI is for) & wondering if it would be okay to smoke before to calm me down?

Hi,
To take marijuana before the MRI needs to be discussed with you radiologist. If you have a problem or prefer not to take pills, you can ask for another form of medication so that you can manage the little claustrophibia that you may face. You must consult the concerned radiologist before deciding to take any medicines on your own, since any movement during the entire procedure of MRI will not be appropriate for appropraite scan. Good luck and need not worry if you have just a little problem with claustrophobia.
