Can Lipocut 60 Cause Loose Stool?

I started taking Lipocut 60 as per doctor's advise.I am 70 yrs old.A few days after starting the tablet my stomach was upset. To control that I took Imoleum tab. Again now after lapse of a week yesterday my stomach has gone loose.Could it be due to Lipocut 60?

I have read the query and have the answer for your question.Lipocut 60 acts by inhibiting the enzymes which are responsible for absorption of fat.As these enzymes are inhibited the unabsorbed fat is excreted through stools and cause stomach upset with oily,loose stools with gases.

I suggest you consult your physician of the stomach upset if it a regular effect after taking medication in response to which he can switch to some other medication.For now drink adequate amount of water to prevent dehydration with reduced fat intake and mild exercise.
