Can I Alter The Dosage Of Lyrica Taken For Nerve Pain To Avoid Weight Gain ?

Hi, I want to know if I can alter my dosage of lyrica, been taking it for nerve pain from sciatica due to a herniated disk in the lower back, taking 150 grams in morning and same at night. want to get off it, it works but, do not want the foggy brain and weight gain, gained 10 pounds

hi,
It all depends on your pain threshold and will power.
here is the way to taper it. If you can tolerate, make it 75-150 mg for a week, then 75-75 mg for another week, finally 75 mg at night may be continued as it is the least, but still effective dose with little side effects.
