Can GD And Heavy Baby Cause Problem In Child Birth?
im 33 yrs old..5'3'' in height..71 kgs on my 39th wk of pregnancy..i have gestational diabetes however ultrasound on my 32nd week showed that the baby is around 5.2kgs..will there be problems during birth?i had discharges (brownish) 2 weeks ago but my cervix is still closed.ive been having contractions but still waiting until now for the baby to be born.any advise what to do to induce labor?

This could be due to uncontrolled sugar levels.. 5.2kg at 32 weeks is a big baby.. It will be difficult to undergo a normal vaginal delivery.. It would be advisable to undergo C section.. A big baby should be born is a centre with good newborn facility as the baby can have hypoglycemia at birth and need to be attended immediately.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
