C Section Done, Retained Product Inside. Internal Heavy Bleeding. Worried

Hi my name is sasha. I had a c section three months ago. Before the end of the first month I had to go back to the ER because I had retained products inside. I am now three months post partom and I am bleeding heavy internally n there is a pain in my scar. It started four days ago when I lifted some heavy objects. By the way I am on the injection. What could be wrong?

Thanks for posting your query.
Normal menstrual bleeding and abnormal bleeding due to other causes should be differentiated. Make sure you have been treated for retained products, as it may cause postpartal bleeding and increases risk of infections. If D&E was performed for retained products then it may cause vaginal bleeding later. Avoid carrying heavy weight and extra physical activities till your get completely well.
Visit your doctor for physical examination and ultrasound may be needed.
