Bumps On Sides Of Mouth. Used Oragel. History Of Wisdom Teeth Removal. What Is This?
Hello. This may sound strange, but, on both sides of my mouth on the bottom behind my last molar on the inside near my tongue, I have large bumps. This week one was bothering me when I ate or drank. I have been putting oragel on it to ease the discomfort. Tonight when I was doing that I felt something sharp. It almost feels as though a tooth is coming through . The funniest thing is that I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 19. What could this be?

After reading your present condition I feel that there may be some supernumerary tooth inside bone.or some root portion of your extracted wisdom teeth also may be present,if you are sure that your wisdom tooth was extracted...both are possibilites...
Is there any pain in tooth?
Proper x-ray is required to be confirmed...
If you are having pain then it can be a abscess formation from adjacent tooth...
But everything is depending on clinical examination and x-ray...

The bumps which you are noticing can be due to some bony spicule, you need to get an x-ray done to confirm this.
If present can be trimmed easily.
If you are having pain you can apply Dologel oral ointment topically over tha affected area.
Take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.

first of all get an x ray done for that area. as you say you have got your wisdom tooth removed, may be its a bony spicule that feels sharp . a bony spicule is sometimes seen after extraction of teeth. its just a part of the tooth socket,.if it is a spicule it has to be removed by minor surgical process.consult an oral surgeon for its detailed examination...

As you said you have hard bumbs in lower right and left back region of mouth and they are bothering you ,
There can be two reasons for this, one is these might be remaining root stumps of your impacted 3rd molar which remained while impaction or these can be (extra) molars, to know exactly its better to visit you dentist and get an X-ray done it will clear the picture.

Bumps on both sides of mouth at the region of erupted wisdom tooth may be due to-
Flap overlying tooth resulting in food impaction.
Deep caries or periodontal infection.
Traumatic cheek biting habit.
I would advice you to get a thorough clinical evaluation done.
Take complete course of amoxicillin along with analgesics.
Gargle frequently with lukewarm saline.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Get scaling and restoration of decayed teeth done.

you had aphthous ulcer, could be due to multivitamin deficiency/due to stress/multiple injuries in the mouth due to sharp tooth..
take multivitamins and analgesics, and continue the application of oragel..
get one consultation with the dentist for sharp tooth..
