Burning Sensation On Roof Of Mouth, Lump. Skin Pulled Back While Extracting Supernumerary Teeth. Advise?
Hi there, I had two supernumerary teeth removed 9 days ago. They were situated up above my two top front teeth. The surgeon had to pull back the skin on the roof of my mouth to take them out. My question is that I have this feeling on the roof of my mouth that I have drunk something to hot. But it's not only one time it's constant.
All my stitches have fallen out now but I have this lump where the burning sensation is. Is that normal? Will it go away?

Hello,
You had your tooth removed and experiencing burning pain and swelling at the site of extraction.
The wound may have healed outside but the are chances that it has not healed inside or it might have infected.
The swelling may be hematoma(collection of blood) or abscess.
NSAID's and antibiotic will help.
review with your Dentist.
