Body Pains And Low Platelets With Fever Of A 48 Years Old Women

Hi My mom is of age 48 Her menstrual cycle was stopped long time ago when she was 23 after the deliveries for the past 2 days she was suffering with severe body pains and low platelet count too 75 Fever is normal low grade fever its below 100 can u please let me know what could be the reason Doctors did the dengue test it came as negative Is it a life threatening issue

This could be viral fever as a cause. If the platelets fall too low she can be in danger of bleeding through nose, mouth and also internal bleeding which can be life threatening. It is best she gets admitted and properly evaluated and if necessary platelet transfusion be given as per her Doctor's discretion. Let her consume plenty of fluids including fresh frits juice which will help in preventing complications to a certain degree.

your mom is under menopausal period,which occur in women at the age of 45 or more. different varities condition apper in menopausal period.thre is no serious problem.it is normal happening.please get lab test of your mom of blood complete picture with special reference to ESR OR BSR.IT IS NORMAL RANGE IS 10MG.IT IS MORE THAN 12 OR MORE.IT SHOWS THAT THERE IS SOME INFECTION INSIDE,WHICH IS THE CAUSE OF FEVER
