Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
With the described symptoms, there could be possibility of decreased gastrointestinal movements or obstruction.
Frequent burps and constipation suggest the diagnosis.
Decreased gastrointestinal movement could be due to thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism), diabetes, decreased serum calcium.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist and should go for thorough check up.
You should go for thyroid profile, serum calcium and blood sugar level and x ray abdomen (to rule out obstruction).
You should take prokinetics along with anti emetics.
You should take stool softener.
You should perform increased physical activity to maintain gastrointestinal movements.
Take care,
Dr. Mayank Bhargava
