Bloating, Tired, Constipation, Dry Skin Patches. Taking Paroxetine For Anxiety. Have Psoriasis. Anxiety And Psoriasis Related?

Hello, I am a 33 year old female. I have had the following symptoms for years: Bloating, tired, constipation, dry skin patches. My doctor gave me medication for anxiety (paroxetine 20 mg one year ago). My stomach is extremely bloated ( if I stand up quick... it sounds like gallons of water moving around). It looks like I'm 9 months pregnant most of the time. I have constipation a lot. Some days I will go A LOT yet still have so much left in me. I also have what was diagnosed as psoriasis on my scalp... private areas and a few on my knees elbows and stomach...etc. I don't know what to do about my stomach. Not sure if this and the psoriasis and anxiety are all related and there is possibly something else wrong. Thank you for your help : )

Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your account in detail.
Though there is no direct cause related relationship with psoriasis, but yes people with psoriasis are reported to be more anxious. Paroxetine is a good drug for anxiety but it causes constipation. Drink plenty of water and do exercise regularly. Take plenty of dietary fibres. Do visit a good ermatologist for getting treated for psoriasis.
If paroxetine is not helping you then other drugs that can help you are , escitalopram, fluoxetine, sertraline etc.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
