Bleeding in left breast

for 19+ years i have been producing breast milk. also accompanied by pain and multible cycts and tumors. i've finailly had a breast biopsy on oct.9,2009 and the test was normal. {they say} now my left nipple is bleeding out. there is not alot of blood but the burning and pain are unbearable. my doctor recently tested the blood in a tube for a lab test and that came back normal. how is that? i had also just had all my female organs removed due to endametrious (chronic) left neglected for years. i have had hep c was on treatment for 1yr. and 1/2 (hep c is now in remission) now i developed hep b and my doctor thinks this is a cause for my breast problems. i have been looking for answers for years now. all my hormones were and are normal they say. i have a putarity tumor microadoma they again claim is not the cause. shall i just sit back and die or keep spending unneccary $$$$$$ amounts on bullshit. i know my body and i know there is something not right.

I had/have same problem. 5 years ago microprolactinoma diagnosed... as part of enquiries they checked breasts... did biopsy and found fibroadenoma/benign (some websites say this is overgrowth of milk producing fibres, which would be explicable). After biopsy right breast bled, then stopped. 3 years later stopped dostinex to see if prolactinoma resolved... breast bled again about a month later. Re-started Dostinex and it stopped. Recently took POP for 5 days. Almost immediately started again... stopped pill and it looks to have stopped, given just reasonable pressure anyway, and certainly produces nothing during the night. Trouble is surgeon is talking of duct removal for papilomas etc. etc. and given the history of the above I am not sure... Are there any surgeons with a whole body approach to these things???

Since the biopsy is normal, it is not of concern as such.

I had same problem, pituitary prolactinoma. 5 years ago was milky, had biopsy in right breast - fibroadenoma/benign - some websites say this is an overgrowth of milk producing tissue, which would make sense. It bled a little from the nipple after this and then stopped. No recurrence of any problem until stopped dostinex to check if prolactinoma had "gone", then it bled again, not profusely. Started Dostinex again.. no probs for 1.5 years. Then took progesterone only pill for 5 days... it started again. Stopped pill and it has since stopped. Haven't squeezed it very hard to check but normal 'squeezing' produces nothing. Surgeon is talking of removing ducts and all sorts but I think I need more convincing because of the coincidences above...

hello, I recently got a breast lift (two weeks ago) yesterday I noticed what appears to be a keloid on the left one. This evening I took a shower and put a little aloe on it and now it appears to be bleeding. The blood does not look fresh. Should I be concerned?

On July 26 I caught my left breast on a metal bed post. It hurt! I scrapped it above the nipple. The 2 long scrap is set about 1/2 above the nipple. The 2 scrap and other parts injured bleed some pin size dots but that was it. I put ice on the area right away for 20 minutes and it felt better. A nasty bruise resulted that covered most of the top of the breast and stretched onto the top half of the nipple. The bruise seems to be healing. The bruised turned yellow and most of the purple is gone. The scab healed and fell off in the shower on August 5. However where the scabe was there is now a painful lump (beginning late on Aug 5 and it has began to hurt more and non stop on Aug 6 and 7. I took motrin for its anti-inflammatory properties at 9pm Aug 7 and 3am this morning Aug 8. The lump is 2 long (same as the scab was). The lump is not hot. I do not have a fever. I am being treated for high blood pressure which is well controlled. Also, I have no thyroid (removed over a decade ago due to papillary thyroid cancer). I take synthroid (since 1996). I am female in my late 50s.

Take a shot at this one. In December I hat a stereotactic biopsy on my left breast. They found that the results were nonspecific inflammation . I noticed after the biopsy that my left nipple had bloody discharge. Almost 2 months later, it still has bloody discharge and is still painful. I have already had a breast surgeon aspirate the area, it is still bleeding and sore . My initial symptoms are still present, shooting pains in the breasts and underarms, a rash on the right breast. What is going on?

I am asking this question for my friend. She had chemotherapy two years ago for a very invasive form of breast cancer. For the past six months her incontinence has steadily worsened. She has to change her sheets every night and is exhausted. She is on a fentanyl patch for chronic neuropathic pain as well as anti-depressants. She does not have high blood pressure, but now is experiencing shortness of brearth. She is not satisfied with the care she has been receiving from her physicians and does not know what to do? What would you recommend? Thank you very much.

I had breast cancer 2 years ago/ chemo/surgery/radiation therapy In March had first-bout of erysipelas in the breast area treated by the radiation with high temp (over 38.4) treated with intravenous fluxclox for 2 days then oral for 8. This happened again in July and again in August (twice) and again now.As I don't want to go to hospital I have 500g fluclox and 500g phenoxymethyl 6 hourly at home for 48 hours and then reduce phenox to 25g I always have high temp for 24 hours which then subsides the scarlet area gradually fades over 10 days How do I prevent this occuring so frequently and why can I not find anyone else who suffers with this - is it really so rare -
