Bleeding Constantly After Using Implanon. Brown, Sticky Discharge, Lower Abdominal Pain, Lower Back Pain, Loose Stools

hi..its a long query. iv got implanon for 2 years now been bleeding constantly. this past month and a half had no bleeding. feeling pregnant. getting brown sticky discharge not bleeding just small specks of light brown sticky spots. ive got lower abdominal pain n lower back pain. the pain in lower abdominal varies from time to time.left and right lower pain. loose stools in the morning. 2 negative pregnancy tests. Could they be wrong because I don't know ovulation or right period dates. Please any help

Hello,

Failure rate of IMPLANON is 0.05%. Above features may be due to side effects of IMPLANON itself. However, we need to rule out early miscarriage or any other pathology (like fibroid, polyp, ovarian cyst etc).

For that, you have to undergo one TVS scan and blood test for beta-hCG. Pelvic examination may be required to pinpoint the diagnosis. Kindly, consult with your gynecologist to get examined once and take suggestive measures.

Till then, take balanced diet, maintain genital hygiene, anti-spasmodic medication like drotaverine, drink more water and take adequate rest.
