Bladder Infection Symptoms, Bloody Urine, Scheduled MRI. Feeling Nauseated, Dizzy, Chills, Shaky. What Does It Indicate

I have had bladder infection syptoms as well as bloody urine, for 6 weeks, and was finaly refered to a urologist who did a scope test into the bladder and took some samples. She found a mass, and has scheduled an MRI with contrast. I have other syptoms of feeling nauseated, dizzy from time to time, chills and shaky all over. My concern is that I may have cancer and that we should be doing a biopsy ... what is the best course of action to take and what do my syptoms indicate/

Dear Friend.

You had bladder symptoms and blood in urine, for which cystoscopy was done and a mass was found, which is being evaluated by your urologist. See, its not always cancerous, but its always better to be sure as it can be.

I would like to know that ,Your nausea, dizziness started after you took medications or they were from begining?

Another important thing is how are your kidney function tests? I would like to know your Blood Urea and Creatinine levels. I am asking this because, an obstruction in your bladder can cause obstructive nephropathy, which can lead to rise in blood urea and creatinine , leading to nausea, hiccups, weakness and lot more symptoms.

But since MRI with contrast has been planned, so i am sure they must have got your Kidney functions evaluated as, they always do before giving you a contrast based dye.

If your kidney functions are normal, then your doctor is going on the right way, get your MRI done, USG done, and till then your tissue/mass biopsy reports would be available.
