Is Severe Pain In Lower Back With Chills Indicative Of Bladder Infection?

having severe back pain but not joint pain - seems to be in the kidney area, and as well have chills. 3 days ago I thought I might have a bladder infection - pain when urinating, increased desire to pee, bloating and chills. I drank lots of water and those symptoms are almost all gone, except the lower back pain. is this a bladder infection still?

Looking at your description, possibility of kidney infection can't be ruled out so I would advise you for a battry of tests like X Ray LS Spine and urine culture and sensitivity test or ultrasound for KUB if need be.

In my opinion you may require a course of antibiotics under medical supervision.

meanwhile maintain good hygiene and continue taking lots of fluids particularly lemon water and urine alkalinizing agent .
