Back Pain, Severe Pain And Sore Muscles, Hot And Cold Flashes. Had A Flu Shot. Recommendations?

Hey, My Dad had the flu shot on Wednesday and he's been in so much pain like he cannot move much because his muscles are really sore and he said he was boiling hot and went straight to freezing cold! He started to get it after The flu shot and I searched it up and ALOT of people have had the same. I'm really worried so is there anything we can get him? Or anything he can do to stop the pain? Oh he's also had back aches and is currently wearing these hot patches on his back. Please help!

Welcome to HCM.
Most likely it is due to some viral fever.In certain viral fever it happens for 5 to 10 days.
You can give him round the clock nsaid under guidance of your physician.
Go for cbc,urine,fbs,ppbs,chikun gunya investigations and start proper treatment.
LOcal application of nsaid gel will be helpful.
Give b12,calcium,multi vitamin supplement.
Drink more liquids like water,lemon water,fruit juices.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
