At What Intervals Are Tests Needed To Check For Infection After Unsafe Sex?

Dear Sir

I have received your mail id from internet.

I am a 37 year old marrried man. I had unprotected sex with a stranger in May 2010. The next day I went to a pathology lab a under went ELISA test and found negative. Again after 3 months I another test which was also negative. In October 2010 I got the same test done in another reputed lab and the result again was negative. Do I need to go any other test to acertain whether I am infected? I get frightened whenever I have some slight illness like fever, cold, loose motion etc. Please advice.

Thanks in advance.
