Are Ultrasound Cavitation And Radiofrequency Harmful During Pregnancy?

I had ultrasound cavitation and radiofrequancy 4 sessions started 1month ago last 2 sessions were in the last week and amenorrhea 4weeks ago and done urine pregnancy test today was positive Is there any possibility of teratogenic effect? Do i have to under go abortion?

Yes, there do exist chances. Although your fetus is barely in the developmental stage, the effects of radiation this early have shown to have var various effects on the fetus. Please report to an obstetrician/gynecologist at the earliest.

Your doctor will most probably monitor your fetus until the 20 th week, and based on the growth and development report the status and leave the decision to you.
