Are The Thyroid Test Results Specifying The Need To Change From Levothyroxine To Synthroid ?
I got my thyroid lab results and am trying to understand them. My TSH is .06, T-4 is 8.5, T-4 Free is 1.5 and T-3 Free is 3.1. Doctor says stay at same dose but use brand Synthroid instead of Levothyroxine. I have Hypothyroid symtoms. What should I do?
Dear ma'm, hi! for some reasons your TSH is suppressed, but actually your T3 & T4 values are normal so you have been advised to continue same dose. synthroid is the brand name of levothyroxine itself. so there is no point of concern. Regards!
