Are Tampons Causing Me To Have An Infection ?

I have been using tampons for about 9 years and within the past year every month like clockwork on the third day of my period I get thea bumps or blisters in the same spot, on the left side of my vagina. I have tried changing brands but that has not helped or solved anything. Could this be an std that comes regularly as if scheduled or set off by my tampon use?

Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Since you said that the blisters or bumps come 3 rd day of every periods then it is not due to STD .The reason for these bumps is that due to the use of tampoons the place gets moist because of the blood of menses and that is what is causing excoriation or irritation of skin causing the bumps or blisters.Get them treated and during the periods try to change the tampoons frequently and even discuss with a doctor close by.
Thanks
