Are Sizodon And Veniz XR Used To Treat Sleep Disorders?
Hi, I have been taking Sizodon (3mg), Veniz XR 37.5mg and Benzhexol (5 mg) as prescribed by my doctor to treat depression. I have however noticed that my sleep pattern has also improved since I started taking them. I used to have insomnia but since I started taking these medicines I sleep very well. Are they also used to treat sleeplessness or is there any relationship between them and an improved sleep cycle?

Sizodon (Risperidone) is an anti-psychotic medication.
Veniz XR (Venlafaxine) is an anti-depressant medication.
Benzhexol is an anticholinergic medication used to prevent side effects of anti-psychotic medication.
Many anti-psychotic medication, including Sizodon, have sedative effects. This is the reason why you have experienced improved sleep after taking the medication.
