Are Flucort And Cetrilak Used To Treat Hair Loss?

Hello, my age is 22yrs and am a female. My problem is relate to hairloss. I have an oilyskin in summers & somewhat dry in winters. I have always had a healthy scalp and hair. But from past one & a half month am having a very bad hairfall. If on a normal day my hairfall used to be 15-20 strands at max. But now on combing everytime i lose almost around 70-100 strands.(i.e. 3 times i comb hair means 3*80=240 strands) I am losing my confidence. This is a age where your looks matter a lot. How can I be confident enough to face anyone when am on the verge of being bald?? Also is cetrilak solution helpful? if yes, how to use it? and i wanted to know about FLUCORT skin lotion as well??

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain hairfall in females can occur due to a number of causes like nutritional deficiency, stress, hormonal imbalances like in Polycystic ovary disease and hypothyroidism, long standing illness, side effects of medicines, shampoos, fungal infection of scalp while at times it can be due to Androgenic Aloepeci that occurs due to androgenic hormones as well as genetics..
As far as Flucort lotion is concerned, it is a steroid lotion and is helpful in hairloss caused by autoimmune disease known as Aloepecia Areata and not in other causes so I would not suggest you to use it without consulting a Trichologist and getting a proper diagnosis done for the exact cause of hairfall..
Cetrilak solution contains Cetrimide that is an antiseptic component and is used in bacterial infections..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Hormonal Assy, complete blood picture, Trichogram and Dermoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can start applying 5% Minoxidil lotion over the scalp..
Take multivitamin and mineral supplements..
Massge your scalp with warm coconut oil every alternate day..
Use a mild shampoo to wash your hairs..
Drink plenty of water.
Avoid stress by meditation and breathing exercises..
Avoid moisture accumulation in scalp..
Do not tie your hairs wet..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
