Any Suggestion To Reduce Weight That Was Increased By Taking Escitalopram?

I have been taking Escitalopram for many months and have put on several pounds. I have decreased my eating, but the weight does not come off. I have started taking the medication every other day (MG) but still am not losing any weight. I also take Lisinopril (10mg) every other day as well. Now I am not sure if it is the medication or something else. Any advice? I also work out 5 days a week for 20-35 minutes.

hi
thanks for choosing healthcare magic

Antidepressants hardly lead yo weight gain, but on few cases it may occur. If u r feeling that u r gaining weight, first get ur thyroid profile done and rule out underline thyroid problem. second increase ur work output. remember to burn one kg of fat u have to burn 7000kcal. means u have to work hard for it. U can change ur dietary pattern by taking less fat and calorie food and increase protein intake. it would help.

THANKS
