Any Suggestion For Having Two Non Cancerous Large Polyps In Lower Intestine?

My husband has numbness and tingling in both his hands and feet. He has trouble walking and states it feels like something to do with his back. Just a few weeks before Christmas he had a touch of the flu with explosive diarrhea. I took him to the ER and they ran multiple tests. They said his hemoglobin was 8 and he was anemic. They called a GI referral and scoped his lower intestine. They found two very large polyps and removed them. The results came back non cancerous but said there was some dysplasia noted. Since all this he has had the above symptoms. Can you please give me your opinion on these symptoms and maybe help us find the type of doctor he needs to see? Thanks

Hello,

I appreciate your health concern about your husband. If it is non-cancerous polyps means don't worry. You have to follow regularly with colonoscopy at least yearly interval to see any recurrence of growth.

Avoid fatty foods and processed carbohydrates. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
