I have been taking Citalopram for several months and now believe I need to discuss increasing the dosage from 20 mg.??? I am uninsured and appointments with the county health department run five weeks out. Shortly after taking it I was able to get up and get things done. My anxiety is again out of control. I have been trying to work on bookkeeping for my job providing independent living support to adults with disabilities, however, I pick up the receipts and attempt to organize them, and just shut down. When out working I feel fine. When working on my farm with the animals or plants, I feel fine. I am easily distracted and can not hold my thoughts on task. What do you recommend? I will contact my Dr. tomorrow to set an appointment, but as he works pro bono for the poor in the community, I know it will again be several weeks before I am seen.
