Ankle Broken, Twisted Knee Before Air Cast Removal, Degenerative Disc And Arthritis, Constant Pain. Suggestions ?

I had broken my ankle Dec 4 2012. I spent 3 months in a cast and then another 3 months in an air cast. 2 weeks before the air cast was removed I twisted my knee. Needless to say, having to walk with an unbalanced gait for a long period of time has just aggravated my back. I have a degenerative disc and arthritis in my back. I have so far had two physio appts. and did one massage therapy session. The pain is constant and I cannot walk or stand for very long at all. I was wondering if going to a chiropractor would be an option. I have had good results in past years with one. My age is 64yrs. I am beginning to feel extremely frustrated without relief in sight. What would or could you suggest for me? Respectfully, AAAA

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your problem is related to age related things. This you have to understand. Your ankle problem will correct after physiotherapy that is done after cast removal. For arthritis many medicines are available, you can try that. you didn't mention which type of arthritis you are suffering from. Treatment are different for different type of arthritis.
If physiotherapy are not helpful in degenerative lumbar disc ,you can opt for endoscopic surgery. For pain ,you can take pregabalin capsules.

Take Care
