Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Arthritis is of many types and in almost all cases etiology is not found. You seem to be suffering from ankylosing spondylitis as it affects large joints of body like hip knee and spine as you described. There are two types of treatment available for arthritis 1. Medical management 2. Surgical management. Medical management with disease modifying agents help only in early stages of disease. Kindly get yourself tested for 1.RA factor 2. HLAB27 to confirm diagnosis. Take a visit to rheumatologist for proper guidance and medical management. Do radiograph of and l4 involved joints and land spine. If it shows advanced arthritis with significant joint space reduction only option is total joint replacement. All the best.
