Am I Pregnant If I Did Not Have A Period After Unprotected Sex?
Hello, I had unprotected sex with my partner on 14th of August. My periods coke around 17th of every month. Though he did not ejaculate still I had a contraceptive pill within 3hrs. Its 21st today and I havent got my period. What are the chances of being pregnant?
Hello dear Understand your concern Chance of pregnancy is less as you had not full penetrative sexual intercourse, But for safer side you have to go for pregnancy test if period will delay by 10-12 days. Delayed period may be due to hormonal imbalance as you took contraceptive pill. Other causes of delayed period are: stress, excessive weight gain/loss, change in dietary habit, ovarian dysfunction/PCOS etc. You should consult the gynecologist to rule out above cause after rule out the pregnancy. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
