Am I Likely To Have A Successful Delivery With A History Of Abortion And C-section?

I had a c section 2010 and I also had an abortion in the year 2013. September now me and my husband are planning to have a baby this year late 2014 around july I must have concieved, now th thing is I was hoping for a VBAC do you think it would be posiible for me ?

Hi,
Provided the indication for the previous cesarean section was not a recurrent one like pelvic disproportion, it is absolutely possible for vaginal delivery. Assessment is usually made at term as regards the choice of delivery by your consultant. I would suggest choosing a well equipped hospital and a planned delivery at term or getting an admission early on at the onset of labor to avail good monitoring which is always needed. Please get regular follow ups including sonograms to check for the placental position. Hope your query has been clarified. Wish you good health. Take care.
